THE RIDES THE PEOPLE THE FUN
Come ride in the sticks with 186 this year!

Victor Tibbs, President

Rides: Chapter 186 loves to ride.  You can plan to ride too many interesting places, regional events, overnight trips; we never run out of ideas of where to go.  Our Chapter sanctioned rides are the 2nd Saturday of each month.  As the days grow longer with day light savings time, we will be adding a Sunday afternoon ride [April-October], and this does not include any additional activities that we may participate in during the rest of the month.

Safety:  Whether you are new to riding in a group, or have ridden for several years, our number one goal is safety – both individually and within the group.

People:  Our Chapter members come from a diverse background, as do the motorcycles we ride.  Our rides and events are open to all.  The common thread we share is the love for the open road, and the many friends – new and old – gathered along the way.

Calendar   Please check back often, as we are continuously updating our web site with new ride dates and events.

Looking forward to “Sharing Times And Riding” with everyone this year.  We would love to have you join us.  Come on out and join us, won’t you?

Victor Lone Eagle Tibbs
President
Contra Costa STAR Chapter #186
Sharing Times And Riding

STAR recognizes safety as a first priority. The STAR community is a mix of riders with varied riding experiences. Chapter rides follow all DMV laws and limits, to keep everyone as safe as possible. This allows everyone to enjoy the ride and not have new riders feel overly stressed. STAR chapter rides do not include “tavern runs”, and consumption of alcoholic beverages on chapter rides is prohibited. We want to see you back safely for the next ride.

All brands of motorcycles are welcome. If you are looking for a family motorcycle association, with a lot of pride, spirit and camaraderie without the “attitude” you have found the right organization and chapter. Please see our mission statement below, as well as the directions to our (3) meeting locations.

Chapter 186 supports the Star Touring mission statement. To pursue, promote and protect the interests of motorcyclists; to develop better and more enthusiastic relations between the general public, the media and the operators and riders of motorcycles; to encourage rider participation in events; to promote motorcycle safety and camaraderie among its members; to promote organized events; and in general, perform them in a lawful manner.
